FOUNDING FATHER Reverend Elliott Titus Brown Born: April 12, 1909 Demise: January 22, 1972 Reverend Elliott Titus Brown was born in Fernadina, Florida. The first child of Arthur and Leatha Bell Brown, he attended public schools in Jacksonville and furthered his education at various theological seminaries. Reverend Brown became a Christian at an early age and worked faithfully in the church until his demise. Reverend Brown served as moderator of the South Florida Annual Conference for 27 years. He also served as President of the Educational Department, Financial Secretary of the General Church, Editor of the Literary Department. Reverend Brown served a tenure as Pastor of the Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church of Bartow, Florida and Antioch Free Will Baptist Church of Deland, Florida. Reverend Brown was married to Miss Ozzie Fountain in 1932 and their loving marriage lasted for 40 years. Descendants:
